Make Your Vote Count

We are delighted to bring you our first Community Vote of 202! This time you have £30,000 to spend on the ideas and projects you believe will make the biggest difference to you, your family and your community and help the Gorbals Reconnect after Covid.

There are two ways to vote. You can use our digital voting platform at https://vote.gorbalsideas.org.uk or vote by paper ballot.

The easiest way to vote is online where the website will do all of the maths for you and help you spend as close to the £30,000 total as possible. The only thing you need is a valid email address and your Gorbals postcode, when you've selected the ideas you want to support click VOTE and then use your email and postcode to authenticate your vote when you see this box:

Only votes that have been validiated with an email and postcode will be counted to help us make sure the vote is safe and secure, so it's very important you complete this information!

If you don't have access to the internet or know someone who doesn't, you can still vote. We've designed a paper ballot paper to make sure everyone in the Gorbals aged 8 and over can still have their say. You can download the postal ballot here and simply pop it in to the New Gorbals Housing Association mailbox by 1pm on Friday 9 July, alternatively just take a photo of the completely ballot paper and email it to us at info@gorbalsideas.org.uk.

Happy voting!
