Become a Community Advocate
We are recruiting for new Community Advocates to help us deliver our work and achieve our vision.

Community Advocates are volunteers who live in our community and commit around 3 hours each week to the Gorbals Ideas Fund. The time is spent on a range of activities such as developing and designing new ways for local people to participate in decision making; meeting people on a one to one basis to help them develop ideas or helping to facilitate conversations with the wider community to build collective actions and activity.

Community Advocates are supported by the New Gorbals Housing Association Volunteer Policy and receive full training to support them in their role although ; however we do need people who are interested in working collaboratively to achieve shared goals, have great listening skills and committed to involving people from all walks of life.
