The Gorbals is home to around 9000 people. It's a vibrant community that has undergone a lot of physical regeneration in the last 30 years and continues to grow and develop.

There are lots of positive things about living and working in the Gorbals, but of course there are still some challenges to overcome. Research from bodies like the Scottish Government, Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership and others tells us there's lots of work still to be done, but local people are always keen to point out what's good about the Gorbals!
